Members

Raúl Schwartzman

Raúl is a cardiologist from Argentina who has been practicing for twenty years in the US, since 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF). Prior to his clinical work at the CCF, he did clinical and basic science research in Argentina, the UK, and the US. For several years he has been working on healthcare education to young children and the elderly. He enjoys supporting humanitarian projects that include evaluation of cardiac conditions in children from Kenya.
Dr. Schwartzman is very proud father of 3 boys, and loving husband of Larisa. They enjoy spending time at home with friends and visiting family whenever possible in Patagonia and Bosnia Herzegovina.

Gustavo Stecher

Gustavo is a global branding specialist and graphic designer from Buenos Aires. He is Founder of Menos es Mas, a studio where he develops branding and image strategies for different clients in Argentina, Chile, USA, Canada, France, Germany and Spain.

In 2002 he founded Nobrand, a company that transformed the Argentine identity into a product. He currently manages consultancy and branding for corporate clients and institutions internationally. In 2009 he won the national contest for the Argentine Bicentennial brand. In 2010 he created the first official coin ever designed by a branding studio in Argentina’s history: the current 2 pesos coin.

José Manuel Calderón

José is a Spanish basketball executive and a former professional basketball point-guard, who played with the Spanish team from the 2002 Indianapolis World Cup until his retirement in 2016. With the Spain National team, he won the World title in 2006, two Olympic silver medals in 2008 and 2012, as well as a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. From 2003 until 2019 he played in the NBA, including the 2018 season in Cleveland where he won the Eastern Conference title.

José works extensively with UNICEF, the United Nations foundation dedicated to assisting children and mothers in developing countries. He has been named ambassador for the organization, one of several NBA players bestowed with that honor. He has spent time raising funds and awareness for the foundation, and traveled on its behalf to Zambia, Serbia, Niger, Lebanon, among other places to participate in programs dedicated to helping local communities.

José runs his own charity that has a mission to instill sportsmanship in the youngsters, and a vision to help build a healthier and more just society.

José is the loving husband of Ana, and proud father of three handsome young boys. They live in New York city.

Tamara Zgonjanin-Li

Tamara has over 20 years of working across humanitarian and international development sectors. During her career, Tamara has worked with a number of United Nations agencies, including over a decade spent with UNICEF. While at UNICEF, she supported building partnerships and sound operational processes for sustainable programmatic activities ranging from education, public health and youth engagement.  Her work took her across different parts of the world and countries from South Africa, Papua New Guinea, Jordan, to Madagascar.  She resides in New York City with her family.

Gabriel Aisenberg

Gabriel is an Internist born in Argentina, who has been practicing in the U.S. since 2003 in the University of Texas, in Houston, Texas. He has always enjoyed direct patient care and bedside teaching. As an academic clinician he won numerous awards as he developed his interest in epistemology (the study of how knowledge is acquired and organized) applied to medical education. His community service consists in devoting long hours to educating the Hispanic community of Houston about common health issues using different media platforms. He participates in content design for 4F.
Dr. Aisenberg is married to Cynthia, a great photographer, and father of three adult children also involved in serving the community.

Marcelo Mellino

Marcello is a cardiologist from Italy who has been practicing for forty years at several Cleveland hospitals.

Marcello is also well known within the local art community as a fine art photographer; he has regularly exhibited his work at several Cleveland venues and at IMAGES Art Gallery, which he has opened and he operates in Lakewood, Ohio.

He has been Board Member on the Lakewood Hospital Foundation, the Cleveland Academy of Medicine, BayArts, the Cleveland Collective Artist Network, the Cenacolo and several other Boards, always supporting valuable medical, humanitarian and artistic projects aimed at improving the quality and the outcome of our existence locally and elsewhere, often by contributing personal art works.

Dr. Mellino is very  proud of his two adult sons, is always planning new activities for his beautiful six granddaughters and has been very happy to call Lakewood his “home” for many years, along with his wife Shelley and their lovely new puppy Gwynby!

Aarón Sanchez

Aarón is an award-winning chef, TV personality, author and philanthropist. He is chef/owner of Johnny Sánchez in New Orleans, and a judge on FOX’s hit culinary competition series MasterChef and MasterChef Junior. He is partner/creative director of Cocina, the first online content platform dedicated to celebrating Latin lifestyle through its vibrant culinary culture. Aarón grew up in the restaurant business and is passionate about preserving his family’s legacy through food and encouraging diversity in the kitchen. In 2016, Aarón founded the Aarón Sánchez Scholarship Fund (ASSF), an initiative empowering aspiring chefs from the Latin community. ASSF provides recipients with full culinary scholarships to the International Culinary Center (ICC) in New York City and ongoing mentorship. He has a son, Yuma, and lives in New Orleans, LA.

Jason Therrien

Jason is a founder, investor, board member and civic leader. He’s started several businesses since 1997, including thunder::tech, an integrated marketing agency that accelerates brands to innovate and win in a connected world. Today, they serve clients throughout the United States and internationally, specializing in developing strategy for integrated and digital marketing for a variety of clients ranging from mid-market to Fortune 500 companies. In addition to his involvement with thunder::tech, Therrien is a corporate board member and investor in businesses ranging from publishing to transportation. He is an active member in his community, serving on a number of boards and committees and is a proud husband and father of two crazy, awesome kids.

Rafael Hernández-Brito

Veteran broadcaster Rafael Hernández-Brito, known as Rafa “El Alcalde” (“The Mayor”), returns for his seventh season of bringing his high-energy play-by-play style to each of his Cleveland Cavaliers broadcasts. Prior to joining the Cavs, Hernández-Brito was the Spanish voice of Brooklyn Nets games for the franchise’s first two seasons. He also was the voice of the New Jersey Nets from 1997 to 2001, and called the action for St. John’s University men’s basketball during that same period. In 2018, Rafa became the first Spanish voice of the Cleveland Browns.
